The Lions Club of Imphal had observed World Hunger Day, 2025 on 28th May 2025 by donating food items to the Old Age Home, Nongmeibung, Purana Rajbari Imphal managed by All Manipur Women’s Association (AMWA). Members of the Club, led by its President Lion O. Ranjit Singh donated rice, pulses, edible oil, tea, ngari, biscuits and other items for the women residents of the Home.
